Nah, I'm just correcting your post, which is factually inaccurate. But keep at it. BTW, according to most sites, Texas and Baylor are barely in the tourney, and OSU is on the outside. OU isn't even on the bubble. So I'd not quite believe the complete failure line. Clearly not as good as it could have been, but complete failure would mean missing the tourney.

You do realize that Texas, the team we're supposed to be jealous of, was 10th last year? We had the same conference record this year, and a better overall record for the past two overall. I don't think they're very jealous of us, though.

Furthermore, Texas outrecruits us most years, and Bamba is even more of a lottery lock than Trae.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not happy with the state of our program, and I'm envious of many other programs, but Texas ain't one of them. In fact, Texas might be the team (in conference) I'm least jealous of right now.

Texas has had, and will have, 3 1st round picks the last 3 years, with 2 of them lotto picks. Allen went 22nd. Add in that they've had the #6 recruiting class the last 2 years. So no, I'm not envious of a team that's finished 10th, and now 7th, when they get top recruits year in and year out, and does absolutely nothing with them. They haven't been to the tournament since Shaka's first year, and lost their first game. They currently are on the last 4 in this year, with another lotto pick in Bamba, while we sit on a 9 seed line.


So once again, no, I'm not envious of a school who has done absolutely nothing with the #6 recruiting class and the #1 recruiting class in the Big 12 finishing 10th and 7th
