I think just about every program has given a job to a player's friend or coach at one point or another.

As long as the guy is at least semi-qualified and is paid what the position normally gets paid, I don't really have much of a problem with it.

Agreed, coaches have to be allowed to move up the ranks if they can. Reese's father has a connection to talent (his son), no different than other assistant coaches being hired due to their connections. Case and point...the new assistant at UCLA (name escapes me now), he was only hired because Howland wants to recruit the Atlanta area more.

Glenn Cyprien. Guy is tearing it up out there and is known for being an outstanding recruiter. A&M isn't going anywhere and will likely stay in the top half of the conference.
