J*ovan Brown (TMG part Deaux?) **NSFW Language**

I find twitter quite useful, but I follow sources of information (I.E. Publications, news websites, sports writers, etc) not 18 year old college kids. I use twitter like one would use a feed reader. As a boxing fan it allows me to follow my favorite boxing writers and boxing websites all in one place.
Boy, that Bradley/Alexander fight sure was a dud. Friggin' head butts.

I am totally with you.

The biggest misconception about twitter is that it is a place to talk about "what you are doing." The second biggest misconception is that you have to tweet at all to get anything out of it. I don't tweet that often myself, but it's incredibly useful just following people. What makes it great is it's versatility. As you said, it serves as a de facto RSS feed, and it's also easily the best way to follow breaking news. Actual tweeting or interacting with people is what I do least with it.

I tried facebook awhile back but just didn't get it. That might be my problem, though. I certainly did not find it to have the utility twitter does.

After doing some quick research, his Twitter page has been deactivated lol

I will never understand the infatuation grown adults have with athletes and why they feel the need to follow them. Stoops to a new low when grown adults are following college players, as if they have to know what they're doing all day.

On that note, Brown seems like a bright guy.

that "infatuation" is the reason we have this website amongst many others. Also ESPN and sports networks.

Most of these guys are lucky they are good at basketball or football, because they sure as hell wouldn't be in college if they weren't.
