Bayless claimed to be a shot happy starting pg in high school. Turns out he was a bench player that averaged 1.4 points per game. Reminds me a bit of all the people on the interent that used to be able to dunk a basketball.

To me this clip of Bayless being called out by Rose humanizes him and makes me feel kind of sorry for him.



But then I realize he's Skip Bayless and he has no soul.

The fact that Bayless tried to add credibility to one of his points by bragging about his high school career is what should be getting most of the attention. Not whether or not he lied, but the fact that he tried to do that in the first place. This isn't the first time I have witnessed him do this either. The guy is obviously a delusional egomaniac. In his mind he is actually on the level with some of the best athletes in the world. He just got a raw deal. I really think he believes that. Hey Skip: you're just a never was like the vast majority of us are. And no amount of weight lifting is ever going to change that.
