Jarion Henry announcing today?

I mentioned before, but I spoke to someone inside the OU bball program and he thought Henry was OU's to lose! (2weeks ago)

And someone posted on here about three days ago that someone close to the program said that OU expected to get another player within [at the time] the next 48 hours or so. Fingers crossed!

In reading Jarion's tweets on that thread, I like our chances. :woot

I know you guys don't like grouping guys as certain positions, but what spot is Henry likely to play? Is he a 4 with perimeter skills? Is he big enough to play inside, muscle-wise?

Seems like he is of the same mold as M'Baye, but not as quick. But I think in college he'll be a 3/4 hybrid. If he were on the team right now, I think he would sub in for Osby. That is where I picture him in our offense.

he is a 4 in our system ..

This coaching staff doesn't use the conventional position philosophy. They would like to get to a point where they have four interchangeable positions.

I keep hearing that, but it simply isn't reality. They may not use the traditional terms, but there isn't a team in the country that sticks 3-4 guys on the floor that can play 3-4 positions. Not even Duke.

They won't have 4 of the same type player playing 4 different positions, but I think they'll be similar to what Baylor was with Udoh, Anthony Jones, Acy and Perry Jones. Tall, long and Athletic.
