Je'Lon Hornbeak

I don't get Tramel or the Oklahoman. They rarely write stories like that about kids at OU but have the space and time to write a positive story about a kid that left. It amazes me anyone if Oklahoma pays for that news paper.

I have to wonder if Je'lon is doing anything at Monmouth he couldn't be doing at OU, if he'd hung in there and worked as hard as his teammates.

I guess he needed a change to find that motivation. I still appreciate how he played for us, but am disappointed it didn't work out.

Ryan Aber is OK , Barry Tramel and the rest of Oklahoman sports writers are a joke.

They try to undermine OU

Agreed. Pathetic.

Exactly! That's mainly because OSU is the favorite school of nearly everyone on the sports staff. It has to be killing them that OU is doing so well in BB and FB this year and Okie State is performing like the little brother again.

All is right in the world!

All is right in the world!

Yes it is!

Believe me, I'm bragging not complaining. If OSU having a bad or a mediocre season and OU at or near the top is what it takes to get the Oklahoman's sports writers to ignore the obvious, that's fine by me. ;)

Of course if we all had a dollar for every time the OKC and Tulsa media promoted OSU only to see them fail to live up to expectations we could all go to Hawaii for the basketball tournament.

I still haven't forgot the little "denial game" back in 2002, when they hyped OSU to the hilt as a "Final Four contender" and treated OU like an afterthought. Guess who made the Final Four that year, and it sure wasn't OSU.

I have no doubt they were crushed at the DOK and the Tulsa Swirled that OU blasted their Pokes in the Bedlam football / Big 12 title game in their beloved Stillwater last month. I think they're almost ignoring men's basketball as much as they can due to the respective seasons that OU and OSU are having so far.

The Daily Disappointment and the Tulsa Swirled are jokes! And no one outside of the state pays them any mind. They continue to TRY and CREATE news instead of REPORTING it. BT is among the worst. His arrogance sits him at the top with JH of the Swirled. I also wouldn't be surprised if 'ol Booger hasn't fattened the wallets of the state media members to write "good, positive" opinions on the Pukes! He's always up to something no good.
