I thought that it was reported that Kruger had already reached out to Grant once?

Could simply be an issue of Kruger preferring his targets closer to Norman.

Still I would have liked to have seen Harvey's kid in a Sooner uniform.

If he is good enough to help, I say recruit him. Dematha high will have more talent than OU in some years and always has one or two kids OU would want, so it wouldn't hurt to get your foot in the door there either. Harvey was one of my favorite players and I thought he was going to be a super star in the NBA, which he wasn't for some reason. Kid sounds like a good kid and if it works for OU and the family, I hope he picks OU.
