it's like a title or something.

its some word you pronounce upon yourself in 3rd person.

"yes, its the Jimmer!"

"watch out...the Jimmer is coming your way"

I'd figure he would be forced to change that name to "Myron" or somesuch in order to attend BYU.

that is all.

Sounds like a name bestowed on him by a little kid who couldn't say Jimmy.

sometimes when he's being interviewed I do a double-take wondering if he's a little light in the loafers.

Wonder if he bats for the other team?

I've never seen him interviewed, so I can't comment.....:ez-laugh:

not that there's anything wrong with batting for that team

heck, one of my own kids bats for them.

you just don't see that very open in mormon country

BYU is the other team.

depends on where he ends up, I could see him having a Lindsey Hunter type of career if he is put in a good situation.

stat, you know your shi*, I' mean that nicely. Compare Reddick and Jimmer...

I don't know **** but a big difference that I've noticed in their college play is that Jimmer is much better at taking it to the basket than JJ was...Take it for what it's worth.

Completely different type of player. Jimmer is scrappy/tough has nice touch around the basket and understands how to use his body to get his shot off and to help get to the line. I really respect Jimmer's toughness. Of course both of them can hurt you if they are open on the perimeter. To me he is a white Lindsey Hunter. I still remember when Lindsey was at Jackson State, he was a beast. I think his SR season he dropped like 44 on Kansas.

Hunter's talent was evident by his longevity in the league.

...it's a way of life.

hunter became a really good defender, which led to his career being extended in the league. jimmer has a lot of work to do on that end. as long as he isn't getting his ankles broken like jj is this year, i could see him being slightly better than redick. his ability to slide over and play a little pg will help.
