Joe Lunardi's latest Braketology has us as a 4 seed.

Has 7 Big 12 teams getting in... Gosh I'm having a hard time but thinking what if... If we are able to BY SOME MIRACLE go 5-1 and over these last 6 and then do damage in the Big 12 tourney I wonder what we could be seeded. I think on a neutral court we may well be the best big 12 team.

I don't think finishing the regular season at 5-1 would be a miracle at all. This team is playing with a lot of confidence and if they play well can beat any team left on their schedule, home or away.

My "what ifs" come when I think about the 2nd half collapse @ Creighton, or the first half brain fart vs. UW, or the lackluster effort vs. KSU. That's meager 7 points separating this team from an undeniable to 8 seed profile. That milk is obviously spilled, but I think it shows how good OU can be.

Seems unlikely they'd pair us with Butler in round two.

Play well the rest of the way, and we end up a 3 seed, no worse than a 4.

Play extraordinary basketball the rest of the way (win out + big 12 tourney), and we could sneak up to the 2 line.

Look at the five seeds. They are Butler, OSU, Baylor and someone else (don't remember or care). OU has beaten all of those teams (Baylor did beat OU in Waco). He has ISU as a four seed and OU beat them.

OU also has 9 wins against the teams in the tournament and is 9-4 against the teams OU faced in the tournament.

Get a three seed against Arizona at the two. The people in Tucson won't like that at all.

Couldn't agree more. BUT Creighton and home against KSU are the sore eyes that people will point out to knock us down...Washington is slowly becoming a 3rd. Not saying we don't deserve a 4 or HOPEFULLY a 3 but those will be the loses they point at when/if we don't get a 3.

kenpom actually has us favored in all remaining games; obviously by a very narrow margin at ISU and some other fairly close calls, including this Saturday's game.

Yeah, OU is the three awful losses away from a very nice seed. As is, 4 would be impressive, and there's obviously room to climb over the final month of the season. 5-1 to finish the season, and making the confernece championship game would almost assuredly get us a 3. Win the conference tournament and you'd be looking at a 2.

4-2 with a win in the conference tourney and you stay on the 4 line. Anything worse than that and you start falling.

I also don't think we should get too far ahead. Call me a pessimist but the guys are 0/4 in tournament games the last two years. We need to get that first win in the Big 12 tournament and then we can talk about the possibility of getting to the Big 12 title game.

we would be in a bracket with Kentucky and Arizona I believe based on that seeding? Nice. I would love to see the cats in the sweet 16 and then the better cats in the elite 8. Just win baby!

Uhm I'm down for the excitement, but we want no part of Kentucky's region.

The team that beats UK can play defense and gets hot from 3. I would say even though we would have a huge size disadvantage we are one of those teams that would have the best chance at beating them. Disclaimer:! Not saying we would just saying that's a type of team that can beat Kentucky
