I miss Sea Biscuit! Thought I'd share in remembering a great Sooner. He had a great attitude and was a hard worker. Boomer Sooner Baby!

Yeah, I had him in economics class and he seemed like a great guy.

Sorry, but the recent "early departures" of 2010 ... I do not (and will not) miss them at all. When I think of Sooners, their names and faces will not pass my memory. At least, not in a good way.

Johnnie was a stud of epic proportions. He was a big team guy, and that was never more evident when he agreed to redshirt during the Final 4 year. He could have helped that team inside when Brown and McGee got into trouble, but took one for the team and was a better player for it.

He definitely wan't the most skilled offensive player to ever play at OU, but his offensive game improved ten-fold while he was here. By the time he left, he was a decent free throw shooter, which is a far cry from his frosh year (he was on par with Johnny Pittman at osu as the worst FT shooter I've ever seen in d-1 basketball).

I'd love to have 3 Johnnie Gilberts on next years team. I wonder what he's doing these days? Is he coaching somewhere?

I liked Ryan Minor's

Favorite hobbies: Sleeping, video games

What bothers you about being an athlete? The stereotypes.

Or close to that. Sports Illustrated even made fun of it.

Favorite TV Show: Anything on C-SPAN 2.
Seriously. He said that.

Did not know that! That makes me like Jilla even more. Always have C-Span 2 on in the background during the day! Never understood why the Senate was on 2 and the House on the original.
