Didn't see it, but Oklahoma won, 101-95.

Woodard had a couple of impressive driving layups. He finished with 10 points and Stevie Clark had 7.

Saw this comment from Sam on Twitter:

@Sam_Duren: It is great to watch a healthy Jordan Woodard, I still like his chances to be a 4 year starter at PG for Oklahoma.

@Sam_Duren: Watching Jordan Woodard in warm ups, healthiest he's looked in a quite a while. Has his explosiveness back

Shaq Morris was the MVP with 20 points, 8 boards and 5 blocks.

Wonder how many assists that Jordan had? Glad to hear that he looks like his old self out there. I would love to see some video highlights from the game.

The daily Oklahoman had already made their story before the game, due to the heavy OSU influence. To be honest, Youngblood, Shaq Morris, and Woodard were the three best Oklahomans on the court. The article doesn't hardly mention them. Stevie Clark was 1-12 from the field, and had numerous turnovers. Just a classic example of a writer going into an event with his story already prepped...nothing more.

It will be an interesting battle over the years, but Woodard was much better than Clark last night against upper level talent. Jordan has the ability to change speeds and is much stronger than Clark. I think we will be very pleased in the long run.

Thanks! That makes perfect sense given how the article was written.

I usually try to go to the Faith 7 game when an OU recruit is playing, but I had to miss it last night. I look forward to seeing Jordan Woodard play for the Sooners.

My hope is that Woodard came out of the game in as good of shape that he went in.

Are you just saying that in a general context or do you have reason to believe he reinjured himself?

Woodard is fine...he tried to put down a monster left handed dunk in the closing seconds. Body looked good...twitter said he was tired, but ready to report this morning. He was signing OU gear after the game for fans and special Olympic athletes.

Thx for the info Postman.

If anyone finds highlights link em!

General context. It was his 1st competition since rehabbing his knee and hammy. He said he was at 100% going in. I was just hoping that he passed the test.

We need a quality recruit like Woodard. We need him from the get go.

If Woodard was trying to throw down a dunk late in the game, then he is a whole lot better now than he was during his high school senior season!!

Why no serious looks at Youngblood? Had an Summer coach tell me he was the best player in the state in his opinion.

A lot of d1 were worried about Seth's size. He had offers. He choose to stay close to home and playing lots of Bball.
Grades were not an issue.
He can play d1 but I respect the decision to stay close to home and let the family be able to watch the majority of his games.

Thanks for the highlight video, Sam!

Jordan didn't show any sign of an injured hamstring that I could see. He is so smooth (and natural) at the point, it may be hard to keep him on the bench too long this fall. He already has a D-1 body. His body type and strength reminds me of Quannas. If turns out to be equally or even close to that good, I'll be a happy man.
