Interesting that you have Colorado with the "good teams" and A&M with the "suck teams". Here's how much different the people at rivals think those two teams will be this year.

Rivals.com PREDICTED ORDER OF FINISH

3. Oklahoma
4. Oklahoma State
5. Kansas State
6. Texas A&M
7. Baylor
8. Missouri
9. Texas Tech
10. Iowa State
11. Nebraska
12. Colorado
That is their opinion. All pre-season mumbo jumbo is just opinions.
*Prepares for lecture on X amount of games they lost by only X amount of points. Along with bringing in the most underrated recruiting class since the days of the recruits Bill Self brought in when he was at Tulsa.*
You asked for it!
Marcus Relphorde (6'7'' 225)- Chose CU over Arkansas. Instant starter. Will be a very versatile player.
Alec Burks (6'6'' 190)- Chose CU over Kansas State. People are saying he is better than Roby. Those people are Bzdelik and local media watching. Player of the Year in Missouri. Bzdelik thinks he will play in the NBA.
Keegan Hornbuckle (6'7'' 205)- Chose CU over Arizona, Arizona State, and Oregon State. Great 3-point shooter and athlete at 6'7''. Fits their system perfectly.
Shane Harris-Tunks (6'11'' 235)- Chose CU over Gonzaga and Vanderbilt. Not quite ready, but he will have a nice career at CU. Great passer and rebounder, fits in well with their system.
Now, the last time I checked Arkansas, Kansas State, Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon State, Gonzaga, and Vanderbilt recruited good players. I think you have to be THRILLED with the class if you are Colorado, because you went 1-15 in the Big 12 last year and have the worst facilities in the conference.
Also, they lost 11 games by an average of 4 points last year. They were too young and not strong enough to finish people. They had a legit chance to beat Kansas and Oklahoma on the road last year. They lost to Kansas State and Texas in overtime at home last season. All of their players are bigger and better, and they added a fantastic class to Higgins, Dufault, Thorne, and Tomlinson.
With their coaching, players, and system in place they will not be an easy game. We will see how they do against Gonzaga in the opening round of the Maui, but I think they can win that game against a depleted Gonzaga team that lost Heytvelt, Daye, and Pargo from last years team.
