So we have Woodson and Randle coming in on the same weekend? That might make it the biggest recruiting weekend in OU basketball in a while.

I know they are long shots, but it would really jump start the program to land one of those two guys. It's nice to get them on campus for such a fun football weekend. I think we stand a better chance to land them if they wait a few months to decide. I think our team this year will be better, and a little more fun to watch. If Randle and Shepard wait long enough to see that, they may want to come join the fun.

No doubt about it. I would be thrilled beyond belief if OU can find a way to sign just one of these kids. My heart may not take the stress, if Kruger can pull a near impossible coup by signing both.

A huge rcruiting weekend indeed! Maybe the biggest ever when it comes to having two high-profile post recruits on campus at the same time.

On his high school blog, Julius Randle — the top player in the nation according to Rivals and 3rd by ESPN, says he'll visit Norman the weekend of the Notre Dame game.

could it be that they are wanting to be a package deal and play together or is it just by luck that they are visiting the same weekend?

they might could see our need at post, and with our good guard play they maybe think they could revive the program and do what carmello anthony did to syracuse.

Boom Soon!

What a great game to have him visit.

I think just luck that they are visiting on the same day. but OU ND football game doesnt hurt even if they are just flirting with us...

I always thought he was a UK lock but I heard from a pretty reliable source that OU is the favorite with Kentucky right behind them.

Owen field will be awesome for this game. Hopefully they see the enthusiasim for football and want the challenge to bring that to the court.

If you're going to bring these kids in...They should be brought in on the biggest home game of the year with the fanbase the biggest it could possibly be.

This is most likely the biggest event either one of them will attend. Not just 2 top ten teams but Notre Dame and OU. This event is bigger than any midnight Madness.

What happens if they both want to come to Norman? Woudn't we be a scholarship short?

As bad as going back on your word is, I would ask CJ Cole to wait one more year. could probably find him some academic scholarships to help out with money, but chances are Randle is a 1 and done so you could give him a scholly after that.

That or see if any older guy isn't earning their stripes. Seems to be regular attrition at most programs anyways, who is to say we retain exactly who we have this year.

according to some on this board and a few espn commentators Mbaye is 1 and done so we will have his scholorship open.

I don't think anyone here has said M'Baye is one and done. They've just reported that others have suggested as much.

That's how I have read it too with his age being the primary factor [other than his perceived ability to play in the NBA of course]. I wonder if Osby has any shot at getting drafted? I don't see any huge distinctions between him and Damion James who has managed to stick around the league, albeit barely.

You find one for him. Even if it means telling C.J. Cole he might have to wait one more season for an athletic scholarship.

I agree. No way you turn one of them down. Kruger can make it work if that were to happen.

i don't know why, but I just have a feeling we will end up getting one of these guys. I wonder if Jeff Webster will be attending the OU/ND game as well?? :)
