Some of you probably don't care, but I thought I would share.

Lastnight, I couldn't even post on this board because I was so pissed off. Another close loss after being down 20, climbing all the way back, just to put up a junk shot and watch washington rebound it. Right when the dude came down with the rebound, my hear just sunk.

"I can't believe this! Why can't we get over the hump and show people that we are a top 15 team!"

Turned off the TV and went to the gym to jog off the anger.

But I wake up today knowing that I care that much again. To throw a mini-tantrum over OU basketball is bliss again, because I know we are at least a good to very good team and possibly a great team if we start playing complete games of basketball.

From 2009-2011, a lot of our souls were crushed on this board, everyone started fighting and bickering as we watched Carl Blair lose the ball out of bounds when we were down by a continuous 20 points for about three straight years.

I don't know if Kruger is going to win us any big 12 championships or any huge ncaa tournament games (we need to win one post-season game before I start feeling more optimistic), but I am faithful he has at least rebuilt us from the grounds up and recruits hard working players I respect.

He has brought me back to feeling that horrible feeling in losing I used to get when watching basketball from 1996-2009, and that's a good first step.

Caring and passion by the fans are critical steps in getting OU where we all ultimately want them to be, hang in there, cheer your ass off when you go to a game and spread the word. Good post. :chestram2:

I had this same thought the other day. In a way, it is really nice to be pissed over a game like that. Washington is undefeated, ranked 16th and I KNOW we are better than them. Creighton game is the second game of the year, huge crowd and hostile environment, but I KNOW we are better than them. That's what makes it so disappointing, to show it for a lot of the game, but have those stretches where for whatever reason we just don't play like it. Eventually we have to prove it and quit having these moral thoughts over losses. But still, to your point, it is nice to care this much.
