Just Like That, Baylor Accomplishes as Much as Missouri

Baylor has now tied Missouri for accomplishments in college basketball. That should really tell you something about Missouri.

I've never understood why some posters are bound and determined to run off any and all posters who are fans of other schools. There are some who are obnoxious and deserve to be run off but I don't think Sawyer falls into that category.

Agreed. Even when I disagree with him he usually finds a way to make me laugh during an argument. A good fan to be sure. I hope you stick around Sawyer.

Obviously, you're just taking a slam at Sawyer. Look, I don't like Missouri, either...all their pimping over the years to try to leave the Big XII...they come off like a bunch of crybabies. With that said, they've had quite a run of accomplishments since the mid 1970s. If you were to take a 10 year time frame from the mid-70s through the mid-80s, they were the BEST program in the Big 8.

With all of their conference titles and NCAA Tournament appearances, it will likely take Baylor the rest of our lifetimes to be on the same level as Missouri in basketball. Despite three bad years, OU is still an all-time top 25 basketball program. Missouri is top 30-35, Baylor isn't sniffing the top 50 even if they win it all this year.

Missouri's biggest problem is they are HORRIBLE in the month of March. I'm on record as saying that OU's best teams were the ones who went deep into the Tournament, but that doesn't mean I think our special teams such as '84, '90, '95 and '00 weren't successful. Well, why should Missouri fans feel any differently?

Sawyer's okay. I give him a hard time, but he's a solid poster. There's no doubt he's a Missouri homer, but aren't we all homers to a certain extent?

I will say though if you're a fan of a different school than the team message board you're posting on, you should expect a certain level of harrassment. As I've said before this isn't and shouldn't be Big12Hoops.com.
