This sucks for the conference. It is much better to have KSU wining non-conference games. This stuff matters in March if OU is a bubble team.

They won the turnover battled by 8, but only had 7 assists on 22 baskets and got outrebounded by 12.
They are not good.

Got tickets to the home game against Kstate. At least hopefully I'll be leaving Lloyd Noble a happy person.

Watched a little bit of the first half. Lots of new players. Spradling a starter? Ugh. Weber looked like a skunk with that hair.
Their bigs did not look that good to me. Marcus Foster struggled but looks like he could be a player. Really wanted an OU offer.

I've watched them many times now and they remind me of Texas A&M when BG first took over. They can/will drag you through the mud because that's the only style this group can play. They don't have anyone else that can shoot the ball besides Foster who when he's been on has been good and just as bad the other way. Spradling and Southwell take a lot of shots like guys who think they can shoot, they just get nothing to show for it.......I'm sure they will have games that a few go in but they look no better than 30% shooters from 3 if that. Gipson has been slow coming back from a concussion but looked like a toad fouling out trying to keep up with quicker guys in the post. They will get out rebounded all season. Johnson and Gipson are too slow to compete with athletes in the post and Iwandu (freshman) and Southwell are built like stick figures. I don't think Weber is as bad as some like to think but I don't think he will do much more (not counting last season) than middle of the pack type finishes consistently.....
