keeping up with Tradition

I never was a OU BB fan until watching Tubbs teams in the 80's, of course I was rather young. I didn't realize what I was missing and over the years it's evolved into a love of BB in general. Now, I couldn't imagine not getting into the selection show, the brackets, and the greatness that is March Madness. This, to me, is one of the best times of the year.

I'll be rooting for 'cuse, since their fans(who came on the board last year) were very gracious and supportive of our run.

Me too, as much because of Johnny Flynn as the 'Cuse fans. It was hard not to admire the way he plays the game. I found myself rooting more and more for them in the Big East tourney run they put together.

Ohio State is really fun to watch I may root for them.

Same here. I have a great deal of respect for the 'cuse now.

I certainly have to watch. In a small way which is heavily outweighed, I like having a chance to enjoy the tournament without stress. I feel like I can either root for my bracket or root for whoever I want to win without having to worry about what happens. And it's not just the OU game, but maybe a team in their region I would have wanted out.

Again, I would much rather see OU in there, but I can still enjoy the tournament, and in a small way more, when OU isn't there.

Filling out a bracket and rooting in the tournament is easier for me, because I'm not torn between putting OU further than is realistic, and rooting for my picks versus what would make an easier matchup for OU.

OU could be a 16 seed and I'd have them going to the Final Four in my brackets.

Keeping up with my tradition as well...will be the 9th straight year I have neither gone to work or had class during the first two days of the tournament.

Pretty proud of that.

used to do that myself. It was awesome back in the day when I had the BIG satellite dish, ( I know I'm dating myself) because you could pick up all the CBS feeds, so I could watch the whole thing, every game, from the comfort of my living room.

Now I'm self employed which you think would make it easier, but it doesn't really.

Not as fun without OU in it, but Thursday and Friday are my favorite days of the year...i think they have surpassed Christmas for me...

I take long lunches and watch Bball, cant get much better than that...The anticipation of the first round matchups and upsets are pretty hard to top...
