I think if you coach at a "blue blood" school like Brown once did at Kansas, you get a "get out of jail free" card from the networks. Knight never got much crap for his bad behavior, and I also thought Lute Olson (thought of as "Loot" by many in Albuquerque and in the rest of the old Pac 10) was kind of a tool himself.
