Nino dominated TT in Norman. It was the first time TT seemed a bit intimidated. Wasn't driving at him etc. Williams is a tough matchup because he is physical and moves laterally really well. I'm curious to see how this matchup plays out tonight.
Thoughts?

Thomas had 14 points and 11 rebounds. Williams had 8 points and 2 rebounds. I don't recall Things the way you do and the stats certainly don't support your statement. Hurt had a big game but so did Thomas.

In norman, it was spangler and Woodard and cousins that did us in. No D and shaky offense.

It was mainly Woodard and Cousins. They had 4 points, 2 rebounds and only 2assists between them. Even worse, they accounted for 6 turnovers of our 13 turnovers. Ryan actually had a decent game, with 9 points and 9 boards, plus he had 4 blocks and 3 steals. We also didn't get much from our bench.

I don't expect to see a repeat of the mediocre to poor performances from that many players in today's game.

Dang me. You are right. My recollection stinks. I think Thomas got most of his points late, but still. I thought Williams had a better game.
Looking at that box score, we are playing so much better now. Lot better mins from bench (even though stats might not prove it).
Gonna be a half court grinder

Nor do I but I also don't expect buddy to score 31 again.

Good point. We can only hope the production from the other players will more than make up for Buddy if he comes up short this time.

This is the biggest game to me. KSU had a little hot streak but they aren't a tournament caliber team. If we are to expect any success in March this is a game we must be able to win. No game we play in March will be any easier than today.

I sure hope we bring it.
