1) Lock down McGriff

McGriff is the best shot creator they have, so forcing them into half court offense will behoove the Sooners. I'd think Odomes will get quite a bit of time on McGriff and possible Doolittle as well. McGriff has been their leading rebounder in almost every game and their leading scorer in about half their games. In their best win of the year, vs. LSU - McGriff had 28. OSU is 3-5 when he is not the leading scorer and the wins are over Central Arkansas, Memphis and Charleston.

2) Kill them on the glass

OU grabs 43 boards a game, while averages just 36 a game. I think Doolittle , James and Manek can have big games on the boards - especially the offensive end. OU needs to have a double-digit rebounding advantage

3) Depth

OU really has some punch off the bench - with Freeman, Odomes, Bienemy and potentially Muni - generally Freeman, Manek and James all shoot better at home as well, which will be a big plus.

I see OU pulling away in the middle of the second half and winning 81-71

Got to make free throws. OSU typically fouls a lot due to their aggressive style of defense. They are lacking any identity on offense so defensive adjustments aren't really necessary other than identifying the shooters. Have to watch for Waters and Likekele posting up smaller guards.

don't fall in love with the 3 pt shot...drive to the hole..feed the post.

Doo just needs to let go..and play. The dude seems so tentative.

He’s averaged 12.0 FG attempts per games over the last 2 games. First 11 games he averaged 4.7.

Seems like the tentativeness is going away
