I love Buddy, but I wish he would utilize a shot fake when guys are closing out on him at 100MPH, then take a dribble and knock down a 15 footer. It seems he is a bit too infatuated with the 3-ball.

I don't think he's selfish as much as he lacks discretion. This isn't like Carmelo who believes that he needs 10 more shots than everyone else ... I think it's more like Jeremy Lamb who just keeps jacking shots up every time he hits the floor because he feels like he's open.

He's not out there "trying to get his", just needs to be a bit more selective with the shots he's taken. A lot of those 3's, can be taken at any point in the shot clock, no reason to take it when there's over 20 seconds left. We would be saying the same thing about Cousins if he hadn't shot so well last Saturday...all of our guards do it.

A little more patience, that's it.

Agree 100%. If and when he develops a mid-range game, teams simply won't know how to defend him.

Buddy's shooting is all about taking ill-advised shots, it has nothing to do with being selfish. And, why not? He's arguably the best player on the team, even if his shooting percentage doesn't always show it. It's a sure bet he has the green light to take any shot he gets, although I have a feeling that Coach Kruger would like to see him take better shots sometimes.
