I think the bonus for a 3.0 gpa should be higher. OU should place a high importance on that goal.
I also think the NCAA should allow the coach the ability to take the team on vacation if they achieve that goal. Shouldn't the NCAA encourage things like this? They could easily put limits on it that did not allow the big schools a huge advantage in recruiting. Most teams probably wouldn't meet the 3.0 gpa requirement and those that did earned the right to a little fun paid by the coach and/or University.
