KSt.is a better defensive team than we are. Thomas is a defensive liability. He is noty so good on offensive rebounds either. He cant guard either of kSt.'s big men.

Thomas actually punched the girl at Picklemans not Mixon

Thomas called the offensive plays last year not Heupel.

The reason for the gridlock on highway 9 after the games - Thomas.

Thomas shot Isaiah Cousins last summer in New York

Thomas is the reason the original owners sold the Greek House.

The flood problems on flood street - yup that's Tay Thomas.

I didn't have a date on Valentine's Day...it's because of Thomas.

It was Thomas who put the '88 title game in Kansas City.

I was with you on the others but those darn Flood St problems are way too old for him. :ez-laugh:

OK, the '88 thing is a little old for him as well.

T. Thomas made those 4234 impermissible calls - not Kelvin!

I have to say, BigTime really excels at this game whenever the opportunity arises.

This isn't close to being the case. K-State gives up far more points per 100 possessions than we do (96.8 to 87) and that's adjusted for pace. K-State plays at a slower tempo and is good at "muddying" up the game at times....like last night. And if the game is slowed by fouls and or dead ball turnovers, then they are at their best. That is the only way that they can play with us. We also have had two below average shooting games against them....and not because of their great defense. We simply missed more open looks that we usually make on average.

We have far superior defensive statistics....for just one example, our effective FG% is 42.3 and theirs is 49.6% on the season.

No. Sorry.

They played really good defense last night but OU is the best defensive team in the conference. KSU isn't close, 1 or 2 games notwithstanding.

Usually I'm sitting here after we sweep a team and saying "Man, I hope we don't play them in the conference tournament because it's hard to beat a team 3 times in one season, and I think they'll probably get us." I'm usually right about it too. But in this instance, if I'm KSU, I'm praying we don't get OU in the conference tournament. I think OU would win a third matchup. Didn't play well at home and almost won. Almost won on the road with foul trouble and a huge discrepancy in free throw shooting that most likely won't happen on a neutral court. (Not trying to put anything on the refs from last night, just different on a neutral court.) I like our chances in a third meeting. Maybe I'm just thinking too highly of this team though.
