According to Dave Telep. Obviously this can't help OU's chances with landing him and Smart.

Forte's top 4 are OU, OSU, Boise St. and Fresno St. He is expected to make an unofficial visit to OU in the near future.

kansas is attempting to maintain it's awkward looking short white guy who bombs threes quota with Forte and Frankamp.

Am I wrong in thinking KU's recruiting seems very average of late?

they got nothing out of the 2010 class and their 2011 class is very average. they look to be in good shape for 2012 though, and frankamp is a great start to 2013.

kansas looked good early in 2010 and 2011, too, only to fade off by the time recruits started making decisions.

Let Kansas have Smart and Ollie from Hoosiers. Then let's offer James Woodard, locking up Jordan in the process.

Did I read somewhere that Forte's parents went to Kansas? Looking at KU's scholarship situation for 2012 I can't believe both these guys have an unconditional offer unless Self plans on someone from 2011 not sticking around.

Yeah, Forte's dad played football for Kansas.

I'm not willing to make that trade-off today. Maybe sometime in the near future, but not today.

I see the rousing success of Keiton Page has made every other team in the Big XII want their own version.

if forte was as good as page, taking him to get smart would be a no-brainer. i don't think he's that good.

Forte is more like a young, sober man's version of Brady Morningstar.

there is no possibility that everyone that ku took in 2011 lasts more than a year.

they're apparently looking at taking 3 bigs in the 2012 class. if they kept everyone from 2011, they'd have 8 bigs on the 2012-13 team. assuming robinson declares, they'll still have 7. there's just no way.
