Kur Kuath

May be off on the spelling. Anyone know anything about this new commit?

His highlight reels are impressive - I'm sure he's going to take some time to clean up his game but he's an explosive athlete that has range from 3.

A better question IMO is what does this mean for Khavon Moore? We were looking like the trendy pick, but picking up a JUCO player in the same position (SF) and only having 1 scholarship available seems like we didn't want to wait.

He looks like a 5 man in the videos I have seen not a small forward

He's 6'9" with a 7'5" wingspan. Runs the floor really well, has a nice set of hands and plays with a edge. Can shoot the ball and finish at the rim. Some will not like filling a spot with a Juco but he is talented kid. He's got offers from Utah and BYU but he'd be a hot commodity by seasons end for a lot of teams. Had a recent game of 20 rebounds and 13 Blks against Portland St. CC. Yeah, it's juco but you still like seeing the production.

K. Moore could still be a take if T. Young decides one National title is enough and goes pro or a possible transfer could always free up a spot. You never know what could happen but Lon went after this kid pretty hard early and it paid off. People are comparing him to Lattin and that's fair. Kur has a similar body type but Kur looks very comfortable on the court. It's still early and saying he's got more upside then a 4 year starter is premature but I'm happy the kid picked the good guys.

I believe Kuath is a two for two but i could be wrong. It leaves J Money(sr.) Polla(Soph.) and Kur(jr.) for the center spot next year. By the time Kur is a senior and Polla a Junior you'll be able to go after a bigger fish in the post. 2019 is a guard heavy class so by taking a big now it sets your front court up and you can go after Harvey, Wilson and Harmon the next year IMO.

Wow, thanks for the great info. Much appreciated!

that was excellent. thx!

I noticed he actually has a nice touch with his shot. Those arms are amazing. So long. I'd hate having to shoot around him.

He could play the 4 or the 5 I think depending on the development of Polla and if Doolittle plays more minutes at the 3 possibly. Looks better than Lattin right now offensively and a little more athletic.

He's averaging 13 points a game in juco. By comparison Lazenby averaged 22 a game in juco.

He's not better than Lattin offensively.

Stretch 4. Not a center. Can shoot it.

Freak athlete. Still raw though. Aggressive style defender. Engry high motor kid.

Lazenby was the main guy. I don’t have the stats in front of me I’m betting ty took a great deal more shots.

Look at usage and schedule. He's active & athletic which will be great for next year. It doesn't look like Lazenby's scoring average is carrying over.

Stretch four? How many do we need? Freeman Manek Doolittle.
We need some minutes from the Five with Lattin leaving. Jumani is good for twenty minutes not sure about Hannes

He's a lesser version than Lattin...honestly switch Lattin's mins with McNeace and that's the best goal.

It's not really that simple. Shakur Juiston, a guy I'm still bummed we missed out on, has virtually the same stats at UNLV as he did at Hutch last year.
