yeah, totally messing around. It's fun to dream even if it's impossible dreams.

I don't see a scenario that involves demolishing the McCasland being at all likely.

I still prefer an on-campus arena though. Study the Moody, it's size/footprint, and find somewhere to put a comparable arena on OU's campus. Be imaginative. Across from the McCasland, you could possibly buyout the couple of houses there and make it work. But like you said, that's kind of a "if money was not an issue" situation.


But man, Gaylord, McCasland, a new arena, and the new football facilities all in the same area = ideal. Parking be damned lol.

It would definitely be ideal. I’m always jealous when I go to a place like Kansas state and see their arena and football stadium practically connected to one another.
 
shocking the OU athletic director says that most students drive to LNC currently .. wow who would have thought

I really, really want to see the LNC reno plans and what the budget would be like. I hate the LNC right now, like pretty much everyone else, but maybe a plan could work?

I’m not sure what you mean as far as worst for fan experience. Allen lacks some of the modern bells and whistles, but it’s probably the best overall fan experience in American sports. I actually hope the renovations don’t take away at all from the atmosphere.
