Lon Kruger, scheduled for Sooner Caravan stop at OU-Tulsa on May 31

Oklahoma coach Lincoln Riley is scheduled to make his first Sooner Caravan stop in Tulsa on May 31.

The football coach is expected to be in attendance alongside men’s basketball coach Lon Kruger and women’s gymnastics coach K.J. Kindler during the event held at Founders Hall on the campus of OU-Tulsa.

Bump for it being May 31 today

On Thursday night, Lincoln Riley will make the final “first” of his inaugural season as head football coach.

Riley will make his first appearance at the annual event, which begins with a 6:30 p.m. autograph session at Founders Hall on the OU-Tulsa campus (4502 E. 41st St.). Riley will be joined by men’s basketball coach Lon Kruger and women’s gymnastics coach K.J. Kindler. The official ceremony begins at 7 p.m.

Tickets remain available until noon Thursday by calling the Sooner Club (405-325-8000). Cost is $30 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under.

Besides Lincoln Riley and Lon Kruger, the only other OU coach scheduled to appear is women’s gymnastics coach K.J. Kindler.
