>>>>>>OU-Memphis Gameday Thread<<<<<<

Re: >>>>>>OU-Memphis Gameday Thread<<<<<<

I prefer some balance. I understand emotions but constant negative takes any credibility to the comments of some.

I used to be a coach and I can criticize with the best but I also recognize good play and can make positive comments as well.

The play was a bit sloppy, and our rebounding was horrible in the first half. But beating a team like Memphis on the road should be good on the NCAA resume.

...and there were positive comments in the game thread. You made some fair but somewhat critical comments after the game that were similar to many of the comments in the game thread. The difference is that some people in the game thread type from the heart instead of the head.

Re: >>>>>>OU-Memphis Gameday Thread<<<<<<

There's a reason I never come to game threads until after the game and never read the posts made during the game. :ez-laugh:

I usually follow the same strategy.

I understand the emotional angst and anxiety that some must type out whilst watching an OU game on TV. I find it MUCH easier on the nerves when I am inside the arena at the game. There is a more natural "release valve" for ones emotions when one is sitting inside the arena. At least, it seems that way to me.

I was happy to see that the Memphis player who went down with a knee injury was able to go back into the game. I always hate to see anyone injured.
