Need you to sign up/sign back in and get this board hoping again. Kruger and the boys have made OU basketball fun again. Tell your friends. Tell your mom.

Bandwagon fans wear me out. I kind of hope they stay away since things are going good!

OU BBall needs bandwagon fans and a lot of them. The boys deserve them in fact.

I don't believe BT is talking about the bandwagon fans who have been noticeably absent since OU went on a winning streak several weeks ago. His invitation is to some of the old gang who used to post here when this site had the best OU basketball forum on the Net.
There's a huge list of great posters who were regulars here the first three years who haven't been around much lately, if at all. I, too, would like to see that change.
In defense of the lurkers - we're not bandwagon, we're just lurkin'. Boomah
Those aren't the fans that are going to games though. Those are the guys that will show up to this board on game day, or start talking trash about how good OU is on Facebook or something. Meh.
That's clearly not true, though. It's obvious that the fans are showing up in greater numbers now that we are good again, and I don't blame them for not coming when we were pitiful.
Hi, I'm a long-time lurker, former member of the student section. Love the Sooners and try to watch or listen to the games when I can (which is harder these days since I'm not in Oklahoma), but I guess I don't usually feel like I have much worthwhile to contribute to the discussion. I enjoy reading the posts of people who know a lot more than I do about basketball, though! Especially when there's a big win to celebrate! :woot

Apparently, you can earn a doctorate by studying such insignificant issues like this.De-lurking ... When lurkers decide to participate more actively in the community, they “de-lurk,” which Rafaeli, Ravid, and Soroka define as: “...transfer from passive participation (only visiting the forum to read) to active participation (actively posting opinions and thoughts on the forum)”.
