I know a few members of the old gang are still around. Tomkar98 showed up a couple of weeks ago. There may be others out there who don't post much now. With the excitement surrounding this year's team, the timing couldn't be better for their return.

I don't believe BT is talking about the bandwagon fans who have been noticeably absent since OU went on a winning streak several weeks ago. His invitation is to some of the old gang who used to post here when this site had the best OU basketball forum on the Net.

There's a huge list of great posters who were regulars here the first three years who haven't been around much lately, if at all. I, too, would like to see that change.

I can work with that... I just hate fans just come around for the good times. Youre right, we need all the fans we can get every single night.

Come on back oldies. Safe to jump back in and give us some "new" thoughts!

Just because you start posting to an internet message board when the sooners are playing well doesn't make you a bandwagon fan. The "new" people may be season ticket holders that go to every game. It's a lot more fun to talk with other people when the sooners are winning though. A sure way to get people to not post on a message board is to start talking about bandwagons and make them feel not welcome.

I hafta refrain from saying much when there is a lot of negativity being spewed because it gets me so mad. I still always read ... so I guess I reduce myself to lurker.

I have never had a problem with message board posters who show up when the team is doing well. Winning brings out the best in people. My beef is with those who only come here to gripe and complain when the team loses.

I have been off of the board for a while, but keeping up with Coach Kruger and the Sooners through other venues. Love the job he has done! Never left the bandwagon, and I'll gladly make room for more on it. How lucky are we to have Kruger instead of Ford? Or Capel? Boomer!

I slowed down after Cool and I had so much fun with Love! And I mean
IReallyLove! Then it was Cheno. Then big. They really soured my stomach on participation. Now, There seems to be a few good guys again.

I haven't posted as much this year. The football team with the big win over OSU and then the Sugar Bowl combined with the program in good hands has slowed my participation level. As well as life in general.

I was much more vocal under the previous regime but felt it was my duty to help people understand we are not a 15-15 program and never should be. I think the results of last year and this year prove just how good this program can be even when many thought it would be years before we got to this level after the program was gutted by poor coaching, poor talent evaluation and even poorer recruiting.

I lurk and read a lot but only post sparingly now kind of like I did in the days of all OU message boards since OUHomer had his old board back in the mid 90's. I was a part of that board and all the different versions of OUInsider which resulted in the creation of this message board. However, as mentioned previously, I changed my username on this one because I had begun to piss off some folks (on OUInsider), who still post here, when Capel was hired. :woot
