Maddie injured today?

Anybody hear anything about Maddie's injury? Newsok reporting she hurt her knee in practice and not sure on status for tomorrow.

It says that she walked off the court by herself. I cringe when knee injuries are mentioned.

I don't need the nausea of another ACL.

It is interesting to watch the other players discuss Maddie. If I heard them correctly on the post-Hawaii interviews now on soonersports.com, Morgan refers to Maddie as a 5 or a 4 (due to her height) who can play guard and can hit floaters over guards who guard her. Aaryn described Maddie as a point.

For Maddie's part, her post-game interview after the Arkansas game on soonersports.com tends to make it clear. She injoyed the physical nature of the game against Arkansas. It was "fun."

I sure hope Maddie is okay. She makes the Sooners a much better team.

I haven't read anything about her injury so hopefully she is fine now.

The Oklahoman reported this morning that she is a game time decision. Probably a bruise, one of those "knock knee" collisions in practice. Hopefully she will be able to play tonight.

Sherri has confirmed that Maddie is out for the year with a torn ACL.
