...well, you jokers get to sweat it out for the next 4 days.

Yep.

I THINK we'll still sneak in, given what a few other bubble teams have done, but we aren't going to be in by much. I'd guess an 11 or 12 seed.

No shame in losing to ISU in KC. That TCU game will haunt me for years if we don't get in though.

No one knows - no matter what they say here. It only takes a few teams to excel in the conference tourneys and we could be out. We will have to wait and see.

I think we're still in barring some conference tourney upsets elsewhere...
But man, nice to take some real momentum into the postseason...

One side is going to be eating crow soon....I hope it is the NIT crowd, but I think common sense states it will be the "we are still definitely in" crown.

Not sweating anything, they're in.

This. I'm not sweating anything. I'm much more upset about watching this team cough up another lead. I'm not sure it matters whether we make the tournament or not....I'm not sure this team can finish anyone off right now...sigh.

If a Big 12 team that finishes 4th in regular season doesn't make it, then it's a crime! KU should not be allowed a 1 seed even if winning tourney by losing to TCU and getting stomped by Hypocrite U.

I still feel real good about us being in. I'm in the 'already in and have been for awhile' crowd but I do see ONE scenario that could work against us. If anybody but ISU, OState, KU, or KState wins the Big 12's bid, we could have trouble. I doubt the committee wants 6 Big 12 teams in. I doubt it happens but you really never know.

Listen to the committee...they don't consider how many teams from each conference, they look at resumes.

If Baylor somehow gets in, then you can bet OU is getting in.

+1

Right now I'm not really worried about the tournament. I mean, who cares if we are going to lose to teams like TCU, piss away big leads, and show an overall absolute lack of nuts in the second half? As exciting and improved as this team was, it's extremely disappointing the lack of courage and leadership here at the end. Very disappointing. And, somebody better learn to score before next year or its gonna be a very, very long season.

Not if Baylor wins the Big 12. Their "resume" won't have anything to do with their bid.

We're going to be one of the last 4-6 in I'd imagine. How far up or down that list is yet to be determined. If you don't think that is on the bubble, fine, but that is exactly where we are.

Yeah, it would take an available spot, but it would also make OU's two wins over Baylor that much better.

don't worry guys we're just taking one for the Big 12 so ISU get's a guaranteed spot in the dance. Nothing to see here.

You can call it what you want too.

But OU is in.

Another choke job! Fred took Lon to school in the 2nd half.

Can't blame the coach when the players can't step up. Pledger played a good first half then choked when it mattered. The freshman are freshman they're gonna make mistakes. Grooms kept us in it the last 2 min. Why we go away from Osby down the stretch in every game baffles me. Maybe that's coaching or maybe it's players not executing. Cam played a good game but he's not a go-to type player. That said, I think we make the tourney but its gonna be tough to advance.
