Do they not teach the overhead pass anymore? This has always frustrated me about her. The ball should never go below her shoulders.

Marist is a difficult team to beat. They play solid basketball. This is a win against a NCAA quality team since they do win their conference every year. We didn't really play well.

I think OU found in Courtney's first couple of years that she was good at catching a bounce pass. But, Courtney also took up a lot of space that kept the other team from getting to the ball. After her first year or so, we didn't get that pass into Courtney either.

A lot of it is that we try to do it too slowly. There is time to move to the ball and get your hands on it if it is delivered slowly.

Billy was right when he said he never allowed bounce passes into the post. Hopefully Sherri will stop that shortly.

Whitney was the difference in the game today. I wish that everyone would move without the ball and hustle the way she does.

We need to work harder at getting offensive boards.

Would like to see us improve our passing to incorporate quick sharp passes to find the open player and cut out some of the dribbling.

Well Nicole has a bad habit of leaning over and reaching for balls instead of moving her feet. As far as moving to the ball I also wonder if they teach step to throw and step to catch anymore. Guess that's just me being an old fart.

Cambell doesn't look like the same player as last year??

I thought Sharane looked fairly solid on defense today. Had some good block outs and help defense, things that don't show up in the stats. Maybe she is waiting for conference play to really show off.

Whitney is the heart and soul of this team. It will be interesting to see how we will do without her next year.

I can only go by the year she got hurt and IMO it cost us big time. I think we'd have had a chance in the FF with her. Don't know about next year but I know I'll miss her.

You can, but Sherry has seldom had that many on scholarship. It seems like the one year we did have a full roster, we couldn't take a transfer we would liked to have had.
