So far I like what I see. They play a style that is fun to watch and he's won at 2 different programs (Nevada, and now Georgia).
 
well...my new standard is whether or not they look like they're gonna be tossing salad in a prison movie ... does he look like a new fish about to get bustered?
 
I was pimping him earlier, but bigtime said he would quit OU basketball if OU hired him.

I guess he doesnt like a guy who won really big at Nevada and has Georgia (they play basketball?) in the NCAA Tournament.

Well considering how sensitive big time was about capel, maybe that's not a bad thing? :ez-laugh:
 
Don't think he would leave UGA this soon unless it was for an elite program.

Not saying that OU is not a better job but Fox just got there and he's got things rolling in the right direction. I would just be a little surprised to see him leave this soon unless it was for an elite program. I could be very wrong. By the way...Tubby did okay there.
 
well, I can't accuse you of being the sharpest knife in the drawer.

I was standing right next to Tubby Smith as he said those exact words. Does that make it clear enough?

I don't really have connections anymore, but that happened at a Kentucky fundraiser that I was at with my dad years ago. Tubby was NOT a Georgia admin fan.

My family still gets invited to those even though my dad passed away. I don't think they go though.

That had to be an experience. I can only imagine the kind of things that go on behind the scenes at one of the blue blood universities. Unless its just hitting moonshine and talking BBall ;)
