No, I'm saying he has done more prior to OU than Harkless had.

I did not know of a single human other than OU's coaching staff and Harkless who thought he could do what he did last year.

So to say he’s a longer, taller Harkless is a stretch. If he is then he’ll go 1st round.

Do you expect he’ll surprise like Harkless? Harkless played on a much better team in a much better conference.

I think Johnson will be 6-9th best player.

First round? Huh? Harkless is a good college player. A 6'5 version of him isn't CLOSE to a first-rounder without MUCH improved shooting and ball handling.

You said taller & more athletic. Pay attention to the NBA, hard workers who play D & extra effort plays are all over the court. He doesn’t need to improve his handling, most teams have 2 guys that do 90% of the dribbling. Hit open 3s, play great defense, 6’5 & athletic gets you on the court a lot.

I'm not saying I expect Johnson to produce like Harkless did, though I don't think that'd be crazy if he did.

I don't think either are close to NBA players without significant improvement offensively.

Harkless is a good defender, but he didn't do any magic against Cunningham or Suggs or any top scorers, which he'd have to being so limited offensively.

Oh and after watching some film there’s some Boo to his game -has some do it all attributes to his game. I can see shades of some Damon Patterson/Jason Dietrich(sp) in his game the dude lead his squad in points, asst, and rebounds so he’s a straight up athlete. He’s not a great shooter by any means but is athletic and crafty enough to be a solid scorer. He’ll help us this year.
