M'Baye could be key to Oklahoma's revival

Anybody want to say he isnt going to start? The MAN can play! Him and this group of kids/LK have changed the culture of this program for the better!
Late night shooting, pickup games, running, etc... all the things that M'Baye and the rest tweet about.
There has been a complete 180 as far as attitude change, effort that I have noticed.

I think OU has a legitimate shot to put 2 or 3 guys on the 1st and 2nd All Big XII team. I think M'Baye, Osby and Pledger all have a shot.

I also think Grooms has a shot to lead the league in both assists per game and assist to turn over ratio (he led the league in this category last season). I looked at his stats from his last year in Juco and he shot .380 from 3 point range. Last season he shot .200. His free throw shooting was also down a lot. I am hoping both his shooting percentage and free throw shooting percentage will notably increase this year. If Grooms is able to do that, I think OU has the chance to be one of the top teams in the conference. If he shoots .380 from 3 point range, I think OU has a chance to compete for the Big XII championship. Unfortunately, I don't think he will shoot .380 from 3 point range but I do think he will shoot .300 or above from three point range.

Another thing I noticed is that Cam Clark shot a lot better from 3 point as a freshman than a sophomore. If he shoots a little better, that will also help this team a lot and make it easier for Grooms to get more assists.

All it takes is one player of that caliber to completely change a team's outlook. If M'Baye is a first round pick, OU will be in the mix for at least a top half finish in conference. Plus, it's not like he won't have any help. Every position on this year's roster is an upgrade in experience and/or talent.
