LOL there goes that man again...making crap up. Never change WS. In your mind, because people on this board were excited about our chances of landing 2 players, that means we all thought it was a done deal?

If you think the football team isn’t competing in NIL, then you’re heads in the sand. There have certainly been some hiccups but we are being very competitive. BV will land another top 10 class and with some elite players that wouldn’t be here without competitive NIL deals. We may not have as much money as aTm or Texas but we do have money to spend.

Unfortunately for basketball, we don’t have the big donors to support NIL outside of football. All of the NIL resources are mobilized for football. The rest of the programs get leftover scraps.

The softball stuff is nice but that’s probably not sustainable every year. Loves stepped up there but that’s probably a one time deal for the stadium.

Instead of calling people who disagree with you “ma’am or a woman”… are you 12?

Why don’t you give some opinion as to why you don’t think this.

Those of us that feel moser isn’t cut out to be OU’s coach have stated actual results and facts.

First time in 40 yrs OU has missed post season 3 consecutive years
4 of mosers recruits in the portal this year (3 starters, 2 of which he recruited out of HS) and 1 going to a top 5 team.
Maybe 3 visits from portal guys, with 1 going elsewhere and 50/50 chance the other 2 will as well.

So where is the sunshine? Or ya can revert to your 12 yr old self and call me a woman again.

Why is it no surprise that you are sexist? Again, it is beyond me how that type of comment doesn’t get shut down by the mods. I guess your mind is so feeble that you can’t come up with actual arguments, so you just keep making things personal.

What's with the misogynistic insults that have cropped up on this board in the past day or so? The women I know are smart and competent and plenty tough when they need to be. Also, one of the best and smartest posters on this board is a woman. I'd say some of the posters here need to meet more women. They've got a 1950s notion of what women are, and guess what? It's 2024. If nothing else, one would think the toughness and talent exhibited by our women's softball, basketball and gymnastic squads would be enough to open some eyes.

Yeah. At least I curse not at someone. Dude continues to call grown men women like it's cool. Maybe he likes men that are going trans and he's unhappy about it? Shrugs.

I'm calling people woman because they are freaking out early in the portal process. They are acting very emotional and overreacting.
Sorry if this offends you. My name calling isn't about Moser being the answer or not...it's irrelevant. It's about illogical takes and overreactions

2. OU is not keeping up with other schools regarding NIL.

I understand people being optimistic. But I just can’t believe people on this board thought that it was magically gonna come together for Moser in year four when it hasn’t the last three years. There is no chance he gets a roster that can make the tournament. last year was his last chance. And it’s not entirely his fault. He’s probably not getting the money he needs. That’s just the reality of it. It doesn’t make me happy as a fan to say that.

I don't think it's his fault. But maybe there's someone out there who could work better in this constrained environment.

Until we put the kind of support - financially and physically - behind this program that it deserves, this is what we will get.
