Trilly reported it. Done dealThe word on the street is that Baylor is offering Jeremy Roach (Duke) $1.5 million.
Ah I guess I should scroll back and read before I postTrilly reported it. Done deal
Are you going off of that Sooner script dudes post? There’s nobody else that thinks he’s visiting Xavier.Garrison is reportedly visiting Texas and Xavier this weekend. Probably leaving his kid at home too. Awful.
I have been randomly surfing basketball sites and Twitter and I read it somewhere but don’t know where. Take with a big grain of salt.
Oh ya … that’s right.. now I remember. Yup.. brother in in boulder … lol not a boulderite at all, except liking the mountains.I live in grand junction Colorado! Not far from Moab
OkIt’s just all he puts though and can’t back up his reasoning. If you think my take on something was so wrong that it “invalidates” anything else I write fine, but be able to at least argue your side.
He can visit. Just don’t think he’s really going there.I heard Kentucky and Arkansas are trying to get Garrison to visit next week so we will see
Getting a higher offer doesn’t all of the sudden make his stats go higher or give OSU more wins. He’s got great upside and I’m pretty confident he’ll pass Godwin next year. I just don’t see how you can guarantee he’s going to be way better than him by next year when they were equal this year.Ok
Again how much are teams willing to pay BG for next year? How much would a team pay SG for next year?
Ok. Disagree whole heartedly. I don’t really even think it will be close. And BGs value on the open market is pretty evident of that. I don’t think any team would take Sam over BG, even if only looking at one yearGetting a higher offer doesn’t all of the sudden make his stats go higher or give OSU more wins. You disagree that his higher offer didn’t raise his stats or didn’t give OSU more wins? Or that he’ll be better than Godwin?Ok. Disagree whole heartedly. I don’t really even think it will be close. Brandon Garrison: 108.6 offensive rating, 101.2 defensive rating, 2.2 win shares.
Sam Godwin: 122.1 offensive rating, 102 defensive rating, 2.5 win shares.
I’m still waiting on you to contribute at all to this discussion.
I agree, I have this whole time. I’m confident Garrison will be better than Godwin next year. I have yet to say Godwin is better or that BG won’t make OU better. I want Garrison to be OU’s starting center next year. One was a true freshman and the other a senior. Godwin also had much better non-conference numbers, so I'd bet the gap is pretty small in conference play. I agree that neither were amazing, but Godwin got the absolute most out of his body this year. There won't be a leap forward, but there likely will be for Garrison. A lot can happen in one year with 6'11 teenagers still growing into their body.
By no means do I think Garrison is a superstar, but we don't get superstar bigs. If we miss on him, I don't expect we'll get a shot with a comparable big. With guys like Overton and Pedulla, there are many other options in the portal. If you have trouble finding talented guys under 6'4, you simply aren't looking.
This kid could play the 3. Competition with Scott. Loser gets 6th/7th man. Harris is rail thin.

Yes. He's more of a 4. Don't care. Too talented. Make it work.
Yes. He's better than A. Scott.
Yes. He's better than Elvis. Could you imagine a backcourt of Pedulla and Shulga. Would be chaos. I'd love it.
Get rid of yaya keita. Take a flier on someone that MIGHT contribute. This isn't college sports anymore! Get your head out of your culture wall buttView attachment 1407View attachment 1408View attachment 1409View attachment 1411View attachment 1410
I threw in Goodine for OU. Had to add someone.
Hypotheticals for other teams as well but probably close to reality.
