MBB Transfer Portal Thread: Moser Year 4

Okay.


1 Transfer/Forsythe
2 Transfer/Elvis/Cooper
3 Transfer/Cooper/Cole
4 Moore/Northweather/Atak
5 Godwin/transfer/Keita

I could be okay with that but you need to get the next transfers right. I don't see Elvis, Scott, Jadon J, and Hall being good enough though (collectively). They need to get "a star". As close as they can to one and as hard as it sounds. Maybe take the Garrison figure and try to money whip some kid. Take a guy like Jaden Schutt, for example, or say Waldo from last year. Someone who might not have great stats but has the ability to perform when given the chance.
 
As myself and others have said, we should load up on guards that can make outside shots and shoot 25-30 3-pointers per game.

That's the only path I see to any relevance next season.

There is also a real chance more guys portal and as other teams fill up, we have a chance to steal, get lucky, whatever on something close to a star.
 
I'm just choosing to wait this out and see where the chips fall after portal szn is all done and dusted. Basing how you feel off of what 'thot' a college kid follows on social media or what some anonymous dude behind a stupid pseudonym says is probably not healthy!

I'm a Liverpool fan and this transfer portal drama reminds me of the pure idiocy of the summer transfer window for European footy. Every summer, other clubs make moves and get their players in. And for whatever reason, Liverpool supporters will go back and forth between frothing at the mouth pure rage or over the moon with who we're linked to in the transfer market. And it'll all be based off of what some little 16 year old virgin behind a keyboard with a Twitter username like @TheSzoboszlaiRole or @TheAnfieldLads have said.

Here I was thinking I could keep that isolated to one sport/club I support!

In the past few days, several terrible posters have come at the 2 of the best posters on this site in @StoopsBros and @CoachTalk

They dont need me to stand up for them, but let me just say that I would support the banning of said awful posters if they keep going after Bros and Coach. Last thing this place needs is to lose quality members due to being harassed.

Thankfully SB and CT have much stronger constitutions than to be bothered by it.

Go the opposite. Terrible shooting, switch everything on defense, and make eyeballs bleed everywhere. You’re not gonna have fun watching or playing in this game.

Who has come after SB? I think everyone on both sides of the Moser debate appreciates the work he does on this thread. And again, the fact that some of you are more offended by someone questioning the accuracy of Coach's predictions than a poster being sexist is pretty ridiculous.

It's more likely Moser (tries) to do something like that. Or, in other words, he will do again what he's already tried and failed at three times. Not a personal attack on you. That brand of ball can definitely work.

If that’s going after someone then there are a lot worse examples of this from others than from me. Strange for you to post that at this point but whatever.

You brought up money. Oregon has WAY more money to spend on NIL than OU does. That is a fact.

It's funny when people with no sources come here to complain about people's information that they freely give occasionally not holding up.

I know I'm not an insider, lol. Very rarely do I go that way.

My intent is to keep things moving. Humor, social media nuggets if I can, Trilly (this year), and whatever else.

I'm going to be wrong, a lot. I throw a ton of chit against the wall. If I were official, I'd care enough to make sure I was as close to 100% as I could get (impossible).

I'd pay just to watch Moore and Lawal dunk all game. Might lose by 20 most of the time...but it would be fun.

Yeah that was mostly a joke but a less extreme version of that may be what we end up with.

Sometimes people get criticized for having bad sources when the source is literally the player themself. Teenagers and people in their early 20s change their mind quickly. Nobody shoots 100%.
