MBB Transfer Portal Thread: Moser Year 4

Kentucky's whole roster is being revamped. Their HC hasn't proved much at all and hasn't even won a game in the tournament. NOTHING is guaranteed there. This is ALL money. Let's be real and stop BSing.
If so, I'd like to know what the $ difference is?? How much would any of you on here be willing to "donate" if it meant getting him? $1k? $500? $100? $0?

Brody Lusk on OU Insider said "his Arkansas contacts" are saying Oklahoma.
Is that more bc Arky fans don't want it to be UK or bc there is actual truth to it? Based on the discord, it seems to be Arky not wanting him to go to UK, UK not wanting him to go to UK, and the random OSU dumb dumb thinking he is staying. UT is out though, which is nice.

Meanwhilte, all the OU fans are like:

Of course. I just don’t understand how. Like I get money but dudes gonna be a backup.
But like also look at Popes offense, he runs the 5 and out, puts his big guy at the free throw line, gives him the rock, and cuts his 4 guards/SF off of it and he either feeds them or moves to the hole. I watched a lot of OSU games, out of all the teams listed it just seems like the far and away biggest offensive missfit to me.

Not sure any fan base deserves something big to go its way more than OU basketball.

It’s been a rough three years.
Amen. Tired of this program being a laughing stock in the current state of CBB.

Care to wager on which team has the better season? Of course nothing is guaranteed, but you can certainly look at things and realize that Kentucky is far more likely to continue being nationally relevant than we are to suddenly show life after three seasons of being irrelevant.

The way this whole ordeal has dragged on, it doesn't feel very "OU-like" does it? I could be wrong, but all 3 of our commits happened during or right after the player visited campus, right?

Football under Venables has also operated pretty similarly. Players that have dicked around and dragged out their recruitment are usually eventually told to kick rocks as they often don't have their priorities line up with what the OU coaching staff looks for. And the ones that commit usually do so during their visit or not long after.

Can't compare basketball recruiting with football. BV can afford to tell a good recruit to kick rocks. PM can't.

To me I think it's good, shows Kentucky doesn't know on garrison, also Kentucky would win that NIL battle against those other 3 schools he'd visit, and finally I think he's more of a fit in Popes offense than Garrison would be.
The reason it’s not good is Kentucky probably could’ve ended that recruitment if they wanted to. Him going to other schools means they probably didn’t push as hard as they could have.
