Kind of like Pedulla with the "sick dad". None of that matters. It's only short term $$'s that matter. Pedulla isn't an NBA player, so whatever. But BG has NBA potential. Hard to tap into it while sitting on the bench at Kentucky.I feel so bad for his kid who will never see him how.
While it could go horribly, I think it’s perhaps a better chance to do well compared to where we have been (high variance). Just getting a bunch of guys who score (but not elite 3 point shooters) has not worked well. Especially as those scorers have come from lower levels and have proven not to be great defenders.I really hope we go get Ugonna. Hold every opponent to 50 ppg. That’s the way forward.
Your screen name says it all.I can't even wrap my head around this. So confusing on so many levels smh
Let me help you........................I can't even wrap my head around this. So confusing on so many levels smh
OU had how many weeks of a head start on UK? If it was just about the bag, OU would never have been in the conversation. Garrison didn't know what the UK bag was a week ago. Or two weeks ago. Or three weeks ago. And he still chose not to commit to OU at that time.Just lol.
What can you do?
This is one of those rare times where I won't even fault the staff. Someone will quote me and say, "yes, you can. If they would win more, blah, blah, blah". This isn't about winning.
I mean, if he's not a starter it does mean he's going to get to go against better competition every day in practice and that matters in terms of improvement. But at the same time just wow. You'd still think starting would matter to a kid. And it's not like he couldn't be an NBA guy with Oklahoma. So demoralizingKind of like Pedulla with the "sick dad". None of that matters. nope it was ONLY ABOUT MONEYTrue, but.....
* OU is right down the street and he has a kid.
* He didn't even visit UK.
* He might not even start at UK.
Just feels like the local kid was never really interested. I know, I know, there have been reports that he was, or even that we may have lead at various points in his recruitment, but it's always felt like the kid wanted to end up anywhere but OU.
Stop it. Just stop. The kid never even visited.OU had how many weeks of a head start on UK? If it was just about the bag, OU would never have been in the conversation. Garrison didn't know what the UK bag was a week ago. Or two weeks ago. Or three weeks ago. And he still chose not to commit to OU at that time.
Both things can be true. It can be true he is probably at UK partially because of the money. It was can also be true that it was WAY more than the money that kept him away from OU.
It's really not. It's called money. OU isn't there in basketball yet, nor will it be for sometime.I mean, if he's not a starter it does mean he's going to get to go against better competition every day in practice and that matters in terms of improvement. But at the same time just wow. You'd still think starting would matter to a kid. And it's not like he couldn't be an NBA guy with Oklahoma. So demoralizing
And just because he won't start this year doesn't mean he might not start the following year. It's about money/NIL, but it's also about winning and player development. Pope might not have a bunch of PD skins on his wall, but UK usually finds a way to get guys to the NBA.I mean, if he's not a starter it does mean he's going to get to go against better competition every day in practice and that matters in terms of improvement. At this point, Moser has no history of producing NBA players, and his bigs at OU have been subpar.I mean, if he's not a starter it does mean he's going to get to go against better competition every day in practice and that matters in terms of improvement.
