MBB Transfer Portal Thread: Moser Year 4

I like Lubin. Not sure he's much better than Godwin. Offensively yes, but doesn't seem to be an elite athlete/shot blocker. I'd guess both would split time pretty equally with Godwin starting.

If he can just be a Hugley replacement, that would be great. We just can’t go into next season w only Godwin and Northweather (and I guess Yaya) at the 5

He’s not a center. At least not a traditional one.

Agreed. He's a 4 all day long, so not sure we can get him to buy in coming here with Moore solidified as the starting 4. Although...I'd be perfectly fine with those two playing together down low and play essentially a 3 guard/2 forward line-up. We could def play faster with those two..but I don't see it happening.

I’d also love that. Almost think the offense would flow better with that personnel.

Vandy discord is saying that he is probably leaving bc they couldn't recruit a proper 5. He is tired of playing the default 5 and would like to showcase or be more of a fit at the 4. (wants to play the 4)

Could he start at the 4 with Godwin at 5. Move Moore to the 3? Maybe moving him to the 3 helps him develop & better shot at being drafted next season.

Maybe Humphrey will pay it forward from his own transfer — promised time at 4 and be stuck at 5 again.

As for Onyenso, I think I read last week that UK’s defensive numbers were actually slightly worse with him on the floor than without. A lot can go into that, but worth noting nonetheless.

The more I look at Atiki, the more I agree.

But at this point, it might be the best they can do. Atiki + Godwin = down towards the bottom of the SEC for the C/BIG position (without looking).
