Just like Waldo obviously didn’t deserve to start till late February. After all, if our brainless coach thought so, it has to be true.
There was never a point in the season when Soares wasn't averaging over 20 minutes a game.

Porter knows it’s now or never. This is about bringing in guys he knows without a doubt can contribute now. He’s mortgaging his future to make sure he survives.
Kaden speaks
247 has Cooper as #93 nationally (yes, I know that's just one ranking service); they had CJ Noland was #92 back in the day.
I'm not saying Cooper won't be better than Noland. I am saying there's no guarantee he will. Ranking services get it wrong often.
I for one wish ranking services had never become a thing. Fans rely on them far too much.
Neither. He’s a high potential but unpolished talent that could still become a very good player but he wasn’t ready to contibute in year one.So did all the recruiting services miss on Cooper or did Moser miss on his utilization of Cooper? Genuinely asking.
Would also be curious to see the run rate of top 100 recruits over the years and see where Cooper stacks up. Again, genuinely curious.
Alas, I am an ultimate sunshine pumper, but this just seems like another situation where nothing positive can be gleaned from a top 100 recruit deciding to leave a situation where ample playing time would seem to be available in the coming year.
I agree with you for sure, it’s incredibly frustrating. The good news though, we’re almost guaranteed a new coach after the year. They were never firing him this year, but next year? Different story.Still waiting on those guys to be brought in... Any of them.
(sorry, I'm pissed at how we have handled this entire thing)
Losing around 8 players every year in college basketball is going to kill the game imo. Fans will soon have absolutely no connection to these annual mercenariesView attachment 1644

Technically 3 open spots counting Moore who, by all accounts, will be back. The guy who does the spreadsheet keeps it open just in case.
A JIC visit/commitment would cure some of this.OU coaches...
If you're on here....
This would be a great time to leak out a visit, maybe take to Twitter to promote your program, or really, anything that could be labeled a positive!
I totally agree but OU's coaches somehow think people knowing what's going on will hurt them. How can it be worse?OU coaches...

Bullcrap. He is maybe the most secure coach at OU. His buyout is too large, BMDs could care less if the program lives or dies, all lead to him being safe as safe can be.It’s only a matter of time before Moser gets fired. He should’ve been fired already but nobody wanted to pay the buyout. Oh well. This is awesome.
That's an idea right there!Maybe we could get the City of Norman to pay the buyout.
In that case, I circle back to my 2nd question. Not asking you or anyone to do the research, would just be curious how other players ranked similarly to him faired in regard to playing time.Neither. He’s a high potential but unpolished talent that could still become a very good player but he wasn’t ready to contibute in year one.
Yeah I don’t know about one of the most secure coaches BUT apparently he is loved by all in the athletic department. A member at my club works for the athletic department… on the football side. Great guy and a big time Sooner former player. We have had a discussion about PM and he replied’great guy we all love him’ with all sincerity. I think PM is gonna have to have a big fail to be fired. Like last in the league. Or a major donor goes knocking on Joe C’s door. Middle of the road AGAIN he probably stays.Bullcrap. He is maybe the most secure coach at OU. Good try, though.
