MBB Transfer Portal Thread: Moser Year 4

View attachment 1771

Knowing this staff, they'll wait another week...like they did with Pedulla/Garrison. It's pretty damn clear Richmond is still wanting more $.

What they should do IMO....

Get Dell'Orso on campus immediately and a big not named Reeves.

Or someone like Dell'Orso.

Edit: or really, just get some portal dudes on campus immediately.
Agree, instead of waiting like last time trying to be “respectful”… let’s go throw some money and get a visit from a Jaxson Robinson or Chaz Lanier. No sense in waiting around, and would also put pressure on Richmond to make a decision.

Yep.

I threw out Dell'Orso because I think he'd pair well with Miles and because I think Dell'Orso is attainable.

Haven't thought much about names today but I'm not specifically fixated on anyone (besides doing better than Reeves). Get guys on campus is the point. The NBA/GLeague camp stuff is annoying as heck. Delays things.

Lanier is being floated out as I assume everyone on here is aware of (?). That will be really tough. Tennessee and Kentucky are thought of as his leaders. The recent IG follows point to UK (but that doesn't always mean it's a lock, duh).

This board sometimes…lol. I mean, last week this time, did ANY of us even know that both Miles and Richmond would even be visiting Norman?? The answer is no. It’s the Monday after his weekend visit, and people are losing their minds. I agree, we prob aren’t getting Richmond (not sure how any school is that confident about him though), but with this renewed sense of financial resources, I’m sure we’ll get at least two more players. I’m guessing a forward and a guard.

Of course we will get two more players. Will they be good? Adequate? Roster fillers? Stars? We have yet to sign a consensus top 100 or even top 150 guy. We may have money to at least put us in the mix, but I doubt we have money to blow away the top schools for the best guys. So, I think it is reasonable to still be worried about Moser's ability to finally land a difference maker.

I could be wrong, but I don't think the board is losing it's mind... I think this is the most reasonable I have seen this board on awhile.

We are mostly surprised we were in for Richmond. That being said, our basketball coverage (outside this board) is pretty sus

I think I've done lost my mind and need to replace several trash cans, although the Miles signing was surprising and nice.

I don't see why they don't go all in on Dell'Orso and Achor and let Elvis and Miles be the primary ball handlers.

I believe Miles is a top 100 kid on 247 portal rankings. But let me guess, if he is, then you have zero confidence in 247’s rankings. Right?
