If you're wondering why Kam didn't see more action against WSU, I heard he was injured in practice (a thigh bruise) on Wednesday and wasn't able to practice for a couple of days.

I'm sure he'll be back soon. We need him!

I think he got the bruise at the end of the ORU game. Knee to thigh.

You're right. I misunderstood the PM I received. He was injured against ORU which limited his practice time last week. The thigh bruise explains why he didn't play much against WSU.

I didn't think much of it at the time. He limped off and laid down at the end of the bench. Looked like he was trying to stretch it out.

We definitely need him and we'll need him more and more as the year goes along. So while I wish he'd have been on the court more Saturday (it's understandable that he wasn't) it's more important that he develops and gets better and plays important minutes in February and March, the way James did last year.

We need McGusty to get healthy. This week off will be a plus heading into Memphis.

I haven't been to many practices this year, but I did get to make one and saw McGusty running quite a bit of point. Didn't look too bad. Would be nice for Strong's minutes to go to either he or Shepherd for no reason than age alone.

That makes sense. He did take that knee to the thigh against ORU and seemed to be in pain. I wondered why he didn't play much when James was struggling on Saturday. I forgot about the thigh.
