Shocker to me because I love this team and the program. However, Midwest City was the best team on this day. They shot the ball extremely well and they are so athletic. They shoot this well during the tourney, they will be tough to beat.
They pressed from the tip off and we got behind, therefore it became a fast paced game and we just don't have the horses to play that way for 4 qtrs. Don't get me wrong, we have arguably the best tandom in Dungee and Calip in the state, they did their part. We needed more from the team.

Our 5 loses have come from teams that have 2 or more athletes and have a post presence. Dungee is our tallest at 5'10. She and Calip have improvised all season for the team by spot playing the middle and defending the post which will only make them be able to guard size at the next level. They have lead this to an amazing season. We came up short but really proud of this team.

It will be nice to see Dungee and Calip play their true positions next year. I believe they will both excell and have great college careers.
