OSU hit a home run with that guy... They will have more talent next season, and should be an easy NCAA tournament team.

Lolol they're 19-13 buddy and prolly gonna miss the tournament. Chill out

They were predicted to be last in the Big 12.... they beat KU twice, beat Tech, beat OU twice, beat West Virginia.... To call this anything other than a success with the talent they have is pure homerism.

Who cares? They are prolly gonna miss the tournament.. :ez-roll:

I think they will make it. Even if they are a #1 seed in the NIT instead, it was a far better year for them than any of their fans reasonably expected.

OU has gone two straight years with underachieving with the talent they have. OSU got the most out of theirs.

At least they play hard. More than OU can say.

Just give him the props due or comment on something else. It's not really that hard to do.

I'm not gonna let it stand that he's some "homerun" hire. He did a pretty good job. That's it. Well see what else he does.. osu i hope is as dumb as some of our posters and again makes the "travis Ford 10 year contract" mistake off of 1 above average season haha

Anyone who thinks OSU has not been a better team than OU the last few weeks is kidding themselves. As much as I hate to say it, the Pokes deserve to be in the NCAA tournament more than the team they played tonight.

Notice I said “the team they played tonight.” Thst was not the team we were so proud of in the early part of the season.

Ok, so you think he did a pretty good job. That's fine.

I agree he's a good coach, but I don't agree they hit the jackpot. If they sneak into the NCAA tournament, expect Boynton to bounce.

That’s a WAY out statement. He coached ONE year, he took over a team that had several decent seniors and Lost 4 or 5 home games and played 7 dogs in the non conference and lost 13 games soon to be 14. He did an average job with a fairly talented team ( I would take 4 of their starters). And we still don’t know if he was involved in all the cheating that the FBI is investigating.

He was a, crap we don’t have any money and no one wants to come coach here anyway, type hire. So before you get all mighty about this guy look at the facts.

Yes as one poster said they have been better than us for the last few weeks but remember we roasted their butts in Norman and they had to get some calls to make it to overtime in Stoowater (remember their big white center sliding 15 feet on the floor with no traveling call?).

Put the liquor down and when you are sober post something that is correct because this guy is nothing special.

He certainly had his team improve this year. Smith looked lost early but has improved. McGriff is having the season Doo should’ve had.

He inherited 3 nice seniors in Solomon / Carroll / Smith. He lost 13 times this year with an easy schedule so what will he do next year with no real center and losing their go to guy?

We have Lattin, James, Mcneace who had just as much experience at those 3 combined.

Their other center Sima is probably better than Mcneace and Lattin
