This is by far worse than the 38 point loss to Missouri.

Astonishing. There's no excuse for it.

Texas Tech is easily the worst team in the 17 year history of the Big XII. We just gave them what will be their only conference win in 18 tries, and they didn't even play well. They played poorly, and still BLEW US OUT. Wtf are the players. Wtf is Kruger doing. Sick of every single facet of OU basketball right about now.

Correction. Before tonight tech was easily the worst team in the 17 year hx of the big 12. Now we are.

I wouldn't go that far. We did beat them in Norman, and we have clearly outplayed them in conference. I nderstand the frustration though. Very, very bad loss.......

Tech is like a high school team and they just had their lowest turnover total of the season at the hands of OU.

I thought Kruger was supposed to be an up-tempo pressing, high-scoring type coach?

Surely you are kidding?

Don't you think the material he has dictates what type of scheme he implements? who on this team do you think is a good enough player to play an up-tempo pressing, high scoring game? Maybe Clark or Osby and that's it. Grooms maybe, too. Pledger and Fitz would be lost on a team like that and they are our best offensive players.

Do you expect him to pull great players out of his ass? Geez.:facepalm

It's sad to be a team's only win of the season in conference. It's not like OU lost at the buzzer, they were totally thrashed by Tech (a really bad team!!)

I had hope for an NIT bid but that's gone now.

In the end, it's only one loss. Sure, it's embarrassing for us as fans, and the team, but it's only one loss in a season with lots of them.

I thought the NIT bid had already sailed anyway, especially after the last few losses because we have no signature wins. We needed a win over Mizzou or ISU and it didn't happen when we had a chance to win both. Oh well, we survived the last 2 seasons which were way worse than this one. Still some games left and a chance to end on a high note.

Exactly our problem isn't coaching.we have no talent whatsoever in our backcourt.Pledger would make a good zone buster / 6th man but that's it. Clark may be athletic but this isn't highschool, against d 1 talent is basically a ghost .
If OU lost Every guard they had next year......... Would they honestly be any worse.......NO
I'm telling you we could bring In the two freshman plus 4 Jucos and we would be just as good..... Or should I say just as bad.
Our talent level at guard sucks

With all due respect, I can't stand either side of the extreme arguments. We beat KSU, and some start labeling us a Big Dance team when clearly we are not. We lose a game we should never lose, and some start saying we have not one guy who should be starting at the D-1 level??:facepalm:facepalm

The truth is probably right there in the middle. We are a struggling team who certainly needs a talent infusion, but we are also talented enough we should not lose to Tech on a bad night. We all have seen flashes of how good some of these guys can play, and we also have seen samples of how bad they can be. The real deal is probably in the middle, and OUr results prove that......

I was at the game and was shocked by the teams demeanor. We just weren't ready to play and several times I saw them apparently "discussing" whose fault a turnover or missed assignment was. They looked more interested in doing that than playing tech. On the plus side my son caught a ball thrown into the crowd by the cheerleaders and one of my daughters took a picture of Billy Clyde and drew stuff on it....the half time show was not bad. Those are the only positives I saw...glad the tickets were cheap.

Probably the most disappointing thing I have seen this year. I had gotten so impressed with the way this team fought and stayed together, even when we lost/played bad.

Heck, tonight I was reminded of the TMG/Tiny era when arguing disinterest were the norm. Hopefully LK gets that straightened out quickly.

this team just can't play defense. There much to slow to cover man to man and too lazy in the zone. Gonna be much longer that I thought to get a team that can compete in this league. In other words a complete roster change.

Agreed. I'll be honest, I'm really, really struggling to see the light right now.

I like Kruger. A lot. But each player on this team has too many holes in their game right now, that it's really frustrating to watch and think that next year could lead to an NCAA berth. Even with the addition of M'Baye.

I just don't know what to think right now.

The team saw Tech's record and felt they didn't need to exert themselves. It happens. OU is much better than what we saw today - they just need to decide to play hard every game. Sloppy game with a lot of turnovers by all.

I agree with this.
