As the game went on, Aaliyah Wilson's intensity kept rising. Even after her No. 2 Muskogee Roughers built a 21-point lead against Edmond Santa Fe in the third quarter. Even after learning earlier that she had become the Oklahoma Gatorade Player of the Year for the second straight year.
This is the state tournament.
"We still haven't put four quarters together, so we've got a long way to go," Wilson said.
Wilson finished with 23 points on 9-18 shooting to lead all players.
Muskogee will play in the 4:30 p.m. semifinal Friday against the winner of Westmoore and Midwest City's quarterfinal.
Edmond Santa Fe 10 10 6 20 - 46
Muskogee 14 16 17 11 - 58
ESF: Jones 12, Foy 11, Cooper 10, Brown 6, Johnson 3, Mack 2, Nero 2.
Muskogee: Wilson 23, Mims 12, Ford 11, Westbrook 7, Dailey-Lee 3, Brown 2.
