doncic has played in the best league in the world outside the NBA and has been the best player in that league ... His pro team would destroy every single college basketball team on every single day they played

I've looked at highlights and his stats.
If he is the best player in that league, then that isn't saying much...not b/c he isn't good but that must mean the league isn't that good

No chance. Trae would haven't played enough with his flaws in defense. The Euro's don't play guys just because they have a big contract.

Almost every analyst I have seen has said there is almost zero chance Doncic is a bust. At worst, he will be a very good player, at best, a superstar. And he definitely played against quality competition. There really is no reason to compare him and Trae, but I understand that will happen to some degree since they were technically traded for one another.

This is complete BS. Trae led the NCAA in assists. Trae tied the all time single game record in assists. Trae is a better offensive talent than doncic imo.

meh, maybe I am just enamored with Doncic's game. I love his jumper and the simplicity of his game. He's got some flair but it's all kinda minimal and not completely about athleticism. Great running the pick&roll and he can shoot behind it. He doesn't have bird's mean streak or I'd say he's reminiscent. He's good and he already plays like an NBA vet.

No I mean his lack of defense & shot selection gets you benched in the top EURO league. If TY at least tries on defense & improves his decision making I think he will be a fine pro. His game is better suited for the NBA than Europe.

But he only passes to get assists, he's not a natural ball mover. Rondo led the NBA in assists but Pierce & Allen would get pissed bc he would dribble around for 20 seconds then pass. TY is a good passer and can fill the stat sheet, my issue with him is he doesn't make the winning plays that don't show up in the stat sheet.

Stats don't equal wins, Doncic so far has proven to be the better winner. He was the MVP of the best EURO league at 19, I believe he's easily better.
